Laboratory
Using cutting-edge technology and processes, Davis County Hospital and Clinics Laboratory offers a wide range of diagnostic tests that providers rely on to help their patients maintain health and wellness and to assist them in making important decisions regarding medical conditions.
The laboratory is staffed with highly skilled phlebotomists, lab assistants and board-certified Medical Lab Technicians (MLT) and Medical Lab Scientists (MLS/MT). Our laboratory staff is committed to personally meeting the needs of our patients and providers and to delivering accurate, quality testing and results in a timely manner.
Our Laboratory is certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).
Hours
Davis County Hospital and Clinics Laboratory provides inpatient and emergency lab services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. DCHC Laboratory provides outpatient testing for non-emergent patients Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm
Chain of Custody Drug Screen collections are available by appointment, between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Testing currently not performed at Davis County Hospital and Clinics Laboratory are referred to an accredited reference laboratory possessing that specialty or subspecialty.
Blood products for transfusion services are obtained from LifeServe Blood Center in Johnstone, Iowa.
